Would You Fire Your Preacher For...
1. Not regularly attending Sunday morning Bible Class?
2. Not regularly attending Sunday morning worship?
3. Not regularly attending Sunday evening worship?
4. Not regularly attending Wednesday evening Bible class?
5. Sleeping in Bible Class or worship?
6. Not visiting the sick or hospitalized?
7. Not attending the business meetings of the Church?
8. Allowing his family to dress immodestly in public?
9. Having an unfriendly personality?
10. Smoking and drinking?
11. Not attending VBS or Gospel meetings?
12. Not contributing as he prospered?
13.

Leaving immediately after communion or arriving just in time for communion?

14. Not dealing honestly with his creditors?
15. Using profanity and telling bad jokes?
16. Writing notes, talking, giggling or laughing in the assembly?
17.

Not making adequate preparation for his participation in Bible classes and the worship?

If you substituted "any Christian" for "your preacher", would your answer be the same in every case?

Would you fire a Christian?  More importantly would you be compelled to fire yourself by your expectations of the preacher!

God also employs "firing" for those he considers unprofitable servants: "flaming fire" (2 Thessalonians 1:8),
"
lake of fire" (Revelation 21:8), and "everlasting fire" (Matthew 25:41).
