By Don Ruhl Many people stay away from the Book of Revelation because it frightens them. Please do not be frightened of this magnificent Book. Jesus did not give it to put us in fear, but that we might have grace and peace. Once you start reading the Book, you will quickly come to this verse. Listen to John, who wrote the Book of Revelation, John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne (Re. 1:4). You may have to remind yourself constantly in your reading of
Revelation that God intends grace and peace for you by this Book. If you are not
getting that message in your reading of it, you are either not
understanding the Book properly or you are not a disciple of Jesus Christ.
